A recent poll of millions of job ads in the US shows that mathematicians are more in demand by employers than ever before and are being recruited in large numbers for cool careers related to Artificial Intelligence (AI) and data analysis. In fact, mathematicians took the #1 spot on the list, reporting a whopping 73% increase in job ads for September 2019. The Canadian job market shows a similar trend.
