I'm a Math Instructor at Mathnasium, where I support students in developing strong mathematical foundations and building confidence in their problem-solving abilities. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at York University, which strengthens my analytical thinking and informs my structured approach to teaching mathematics. I am committed to creating a positive, focused, and supportive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and capable of succeeding academically. My goal is to help students not only improve their mathematical skills, but also develop self-confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning through engaging and enjoyable lessons.
I am a Mathnasium instructor with a strong background in physics and mathematics, holding a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. During my studies, I was involved in research and developed coding and analytical skills that support clear, structured problem-solving—skills I bring into every lesson with my students.
For the past three years at Mathnasium, I have worked closely with students through individualized instruction, helping them build confidence, consistency, and a positive relationship with math. I also value connecting with students beyond academics. I was a member of my school’s badminton team, participated in Science Rendezvous to promote STEM learning in the community, and enjoy baking in my free time. These experiences help me create a supportive, engaging, and approachable learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing at their own pace
I am an instructor at Mathnasium and a high-achieving, motivated high school student, whomaintains a 95% average and I have consistently earned placement on the Honour Roll with Distinction. I have a strong academic foundation in mathematics and science and was notably selected as the only student from my school to attend advanced computer science and mathematics programs at the University of Waterloo. I also have experience supporting student learning through my role as a Peer Tutor in French, Math, and Science, as well as through my volunteer work with the Toronto Public Library’s Leading to Reading program, where I help younger students build literacy skills and confidence. At Mathnasium, my critical thinking and analytical skills allow me to focus on creating a structured, supportive learning environment that helps students strengthen their number sense, problem-solving skills, and confidence in math. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping each student progress at their own pace. Outside of academics, I enjoy playing piano, reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
