Kent is an Assistant Center Director and a recent graduate from the University of Ottawa with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in History. They have experience tutoring math alongside various other subjects, including having taught English abroad in Japan. They plan on harnessing their skill for teaching to get a Bachelors of Education in the near future to become a teacher full-time. Outside of work, Kent enjoys playing in the Ottawa Pops Orchestra and writing.
Neel, a recent Bachelor’s graduate in Robotics and Automation from Algonquin College, is pursuing a Master’s in Applied Science. With a passion for working with kids, he has coached children's soccer and tutored in math and physics since high school. Neel believes in blending theory and practice to make learning fun and engaging for children. Outside of teaching, Neel enjoys working on his car (and others), playing soccer, and attempting fun robotic-side projects, with a passion for continuous learning
Patrick recently graduated from Carleton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and has been tutoring math for more than three years. With his passion for mathematics, he likes to keep learning about various math concepts even after graduating, though he has plans on getting his Master’s degree in Mathematics in the near future. Patrick aims to make math easy to understand while challenging the students to think, since he knows how important having a solid foundation in math is and how it can affect a student’s reception of the subject in the future.
Maxence is an aspiring Mathnasium teacher. He is a high school student who currently lives abroad in Jordan. He has been tutored by Mathnasium for 4 years now and has continued to be part of its community by working with it. Maxence believes that math can be fun and strives to teach students as well as improve his own skills through tutoring. In school, Maxence plays the saxophone for his school’s jazz band, and has traveled internationally to compete in Track & Field events.
