Meet the Team
An Le
Centre Director
Hello! I’m An Le, the Centre Director of Mathnasium of Cochrane. I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Calgary. My passion for teaching started early — I became a Calculus Teaching Assistant in my second year of university and continued teaching math and biomedical engineering labs throughout my graduate studies, earning the UCalgary Teaching Excellence Award in 2015.
My professional journey began at a proudly Canadian company developing diagnostic software used by top hospitals worldwide, and later at another Canadian company, a world leader transforming the legal experience for all. From my very first job, I found joy in mentoring interns, co-ops, and new engineers — a passion for guiding others that has never left me.
I’m also a natural multitasker who loves learning new skills and isn’t afraid to ask questions to keep growing. But teaching has always been my true calling. I believe that confidence in math helps children feel confident in everything else. At Mathnasium of Cochrane, my goal is to make learning math an uplifting, engaging experience that builds both skills and self-belief in every student.
I can’t wait to welcome you and your child to our centre, nurture their potential, and help grow the next generation of confident thinkers and future builders of our country.
Gabe Delisle
Instructor
Howdy! I’m Gabe Delisle, a software engineering student at the University of Calgary. I love working with kids of all ages and I find it rewarding to get to know about each student’s interests and using those interests to put math problems into real world scenarios. My goal is not only to encourage students to succeed, but also to enhance their problem solving abilities and show them that there is indeed a fun way to learn. In addition to my pursuing my goals, I enjoy travelling and look forward to seeing more of the world, music, technology, and hockey (Go Habs!)
Ashley Wilson
Instructor
Hello, my name is Ashley, and I am a grade 12 student at Bow Valley High School in Cochrane. My favorite subject has always been math! I know that it can be challenging for many students, but I believe Mathnasium is the perfect place to build confidence and discover learning strategies that make it easier to understand. I have two younger brothers and several years of babysitting experience, which has given me the opportunity to work with kids of different ages and personalities. I plan to attend SAIT in the next could of years to become a paramedic in Calgary. I’m very excited to be a part of the Cochrane Mathnasium team and look forward to helping students understand math, build confidence, and reach their full potential!

Hello! I’m Ben, a first-year Kinesiology student at the University of Calgary. Outside of my studies, I enjoy cooking and meeting new people. I love hearing different stories and learning from others. My background in sports and kinesiology has shown me how often math appears in real-world situations, from analyzing movement to understanding performance. I’m passionate about helping students strengthen their problem-solving skills and gain confidence. I’m thrilled to be part of Mathnasium and look forward to supporting each student in reaching their full potential.
Leah Richter

Hello, my name is Leah! After graduating from Bow Valley High School in 2026, I plan to attend the University of Calgary to study nursing. Outside of school I like to read and play basketball. I actually coach for a basketball club out in Calgary. Whether it be coaching or tutoring, I love working with kids to develop confidence in their own abilities. One of my greatest passions has always been learning, and I hope to share that with the students here at Mathnasium. My goal is to help students find the strategies that work best for them, and have fun learning together. I look forward to pushing each student to their fullest potential!

Students can take 3 easy steps to enrol at Mathnasium.
All students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints what they already know and what they still need to learn.
Our caring, specially trained tutors work with elementary, middle, and high school students of all skill levels looking to learn and master any K-12 math class and topic, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus.
Yes, our students can attend Mathnasium at our centre or log into live, face-to-face sessions with their tutor.
Each student is given a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints their strengths, knowledge gaps, and unique goals, so that we can create a personalized learning plan that will put them on the best path to math mastery.
Unlike a math class, Mathnasium teaches to the individual. Our expert instructors provide face-to-face instruction at the right pace for each student.
We use The Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, so they're able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.
We empower students of all skill levels to excel in math, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey.
We work with advanced students to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential. At Mathnasium, advanced students can explore the topics beyond their school’s math curriculum and receive personalized support to achieve their unique academic goals.
If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrolment packages.
Personalized learning that helps students grow with confidence and proven results.
