Amna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and has been part of Mathnasium for five years. She began as an instructor and quickly discovered her passion for helping students overcome challenges in math. That passion led her to grow within the organization and eventually become both Centre Director and Owner.
What Amna loves most about math is seeing it transform from something intimidating into something empowering. She believes confidence is just as important as skill and takes pride in leading a team that creates a warm, encouraging space where every student can succeed.
Sean graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. He enjoys Math, Science and Computer Technology. Through his education, he’s gained an appreciation for how math can enhance our problem-solving skills, which is necessary now more than ever.
At Mathnasium, Sean seeks to help develop the problem-solving skills of future generations in order to build a brighter future.
Sean has encouraged students to think outside the box on many occasions when they’re facing a unique or difficult problem. In an evolving world, adaptability is an asset. Sean believes that every student is capable of adapting, even no matter how difficult it may seem.
For Mandeep, math has always been more than just numbers — it’s about building confidence and helping students see what they’re truly capable of. He started at Mathnasium as an Instructor and quickly found that working with students was the best part of his day. Watching a student go from “I can’t do this” to “Oh, I get it now!” never gets old.
Over the years, Mandeep’s passion for teaching and mentoring has helped him grow into roles like Lead Instructor and Assistant Center Director. He’s known for his patient and calm approach — the kind that makes students feel comfortable asking questions and taking their time to learn.
With a postgraduate degree in Cybersecurity and Forensics, Mandeep loves bringing a problem-solving mindset to math. He believes that confidence is just as important as skill, and that with the right support, every student can succeed.
At Mathnasium, Mandeep works hard to make sure each student feels seen, supported, and proud of their progress. For him, math isn’t about perfection — it’s about growth, persistence, and celebrating every “aha!” moment along the way.
Aishwarya is pursuing a double major in Statistics and Economics with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Toronto. She has always loved how math challenges the mind while offering clear, logical solutions. Teaching at Mathnasium has been especially rewarding for her - she enjoys connecting with students, making learning fun, and helping them realise that math isn’t as intimidating as it seems.
Saad is a Computer Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University who has always appreciated the logical side of math. He enjoys the satisfaction that comes from figuring things out and wanted to share that feeling with others.
Saad has been a proud member of Mathnasium for over a year, where he helps students build confidence in mathematics and discover that it can actually be enjoyable. Through teaching, he’s learned the importance of patience and adapting to each student’s unique way of learning.
Mohaddis graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in Math and Computer Science and has over six years of experience tutoring math. He’s drawn to mathematics for the way it combines logic and creativity, and he enjoys tutoring here because he loves helping students gain confidence and discover that math can be interesting and fun. For him, the most satisfying moment when tutoring is the moment that a concept finally “clicks” for someone, and they get a grasp of how things work. Mohaddis is very passionate about trying to make math more comfortable for students, challenging the perception of it being the most boring and tedious subject. He strives to bring students to a point where they can enjoy and understand the subject material.
Muntaha is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at UofT and has always found joy in exploring the logical beauty of mathematics. For her, math is not just about numbers; it’s about problem-solving, persistence, and the satisfaction that comes from finally cracking a challenge after steady practice. She loves how math allows her to think critically and creatively, and she finds the process of mastering new concepts both rewarding and fun.
Teaching has always been one of Muntaha’s greatest passions, especially when it comes to mathematics. She enjoys guiding students through different ways of approaching a problem and finds true fulfillment in seeing their confidence grow as concepts start to “click.” Those moments, when a student moves from uncertainty to understanding, are what inspire her most.
At Mathnasium, Muntaha loves the personalized approach to learning that meets each student exactly where they are. She appreciates how the program turns math from something intimidating into something engaging and approachable. Helping students see that math can be enjoyable and achievable is what she values most about being part of the Mathnasium team
Annie is a current grade 12 student who is involved in a variety of clubs, one of which is her school’s math club. She has always loved mathematics because of its diverse range of interesting concepts - everything from the Fibonacci Sequence to Euler’s identity. She believes that math is so much more than just simply a bunch of numbers and equations, and she hopes to make learning math a more positive experience for others. Annie has always liked helping others as she finds the process to be very rewarding. Annie really likes the welcoming and uplifting atmosphere at Mathnasium sessions that makes the process of learning math much more enjoyable and allows everyone to reach their fullest potential.
