Job Title: Math Instructor (Full-Time, 30 Hours/Week)

Hours: 30 hours per week
Wage: $20 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
1. Provide individual and small-group instruction in mathematics based on the Mathnasium curriculum.
2. Teach students in elementary, middle, and high school levels using interactive and engaging methods.
3. Assess students’ math skills and adapt lessons to their needs.
4. Guide students through problem-solving exercises, helping them build confidence in math.
5. Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate with parents when required.
6. Work collaboratively with other instructors and the Centre Director to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
7. Assist in grading student work and providing feedback.
8. Ensure that Mathnasium teaching standards and methodologies are followed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1. High school diploma required; post-secondary education in mathematics, education, or related fields is an asset but not mandatory.
2. Prior experience in tutoring or teaching math is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
3. Strong mathematical skills (up to high school level).
4. Ability to communicate math concepts clearly and effectively.
5. Patience and enthusiasm for working with students.
6. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
7. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
