Covid-19 Health and Safety Update from Mathnasium of North Vancouver

At Mathnasium, the well-being of our families is always our first priority. We are keeping up with the latest information on the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) and wanted to share some notes with you on how we are working to keep our centre the safest place it can be for your children.

We are emphasizing hygiene standards for all students and staff and reinforcing the importance of proper hand washing procedures after sneezing, coughing, and using the bathroom. We are also implementing additional cleaning protocols with disinfectants for all communal surfaces.

For any students exhibiting signs of a cold or the flu, we will be asking parents/guardians to take them home. If your child has symptoms, please wait until they've subsided before coming back to the centre.

If you or any member of your household has travelled outside Canada and has to self quarantine, we will be introducing Mathnasium@Home in the next week which will allow you to attend Mathnasium from home and still get the same experience with instructors. More details to come on this next week.

In addition to following the World Health Organization’s guidance and the guidance of our provincial health authorities, we will be monitoring the actions of schools in our area to make decisions on a daily basis that are right for our community. Mathnasium of North Vancouver will also remain open during regular hours until further notice.

We will continue to provide you with updates through emails and posts to our Facebook channel as this situation evolves.

Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have any questions or concerns, [email protected]. Thank you.
