Riwan is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) with a background in Environmental Science and an MBA in International Business from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. He brings years of experience from companies like Cenovus, Encana, and ConocoPhillips.
After witnessing how math transformed his own children's academic journey, Riwan became passionate about helping other students build confidence through the Mathnasium Method™. He is dedicated to making math a life-changing experience for families in the Red Deer community.
Yani brings deep expertise from a successful career in management consulting with firms like Deloitte and Korn Ferry. She holds a Bachelor's in Accounting and an MBA in General Management from the University of Adelaide.
As a mother of three, Yani understands the importance of nurturing environments where students can grow and thrive. She is excited to share the Mathnasium Method™ with Red Deer families and inspire a lasting love for math.
Lester earned his degree in Mathematics from Cebu Normal University and has over 10 years of experience teaching students from elementary through high school.
He excels at simplifying complex topics and turning confusion into confidence. Lester brings a love for puzzles, mazes, and logic games to the classroom, showing students that math can be both fun and rewarding.
Seth is taking Bachelor program in Liberal Arts at Red Deer Polytechnic – with a long-term goal of becoming a lawyer. He actually started out as a long-time Mathnasium student, and in his own words, he’s “the chosen one” to make the leap from student to instructor!
Seth earned Top Academic Student at St. Joseph High School in both Grade 10 and 11. “I wouldn’t have achieved this without Mathnasium,” he says. Fun fact: he’s our only student ever to win Student of the Month twice! Two times! Seth is also fluent in French, and volunteered with a non-profit organization for community development in Rwanda and Uganda.
Ratih earned her Bachelor of Commerce from School of Business, University of Alberta. She is currently a Teaching Assistant in Business Technology Management at her alma mater. She is proficient in Korean and volunteered as a teaching assistant while completing her studies. She even won the university's Korean Speech Contest a few years ago!
