Shawn

Lead Instructor
After spending 2 years teaching English in Japan, Shawn decided to come back home to Saskatoon to try and start his career as a full time high school teacher. However, he couldn’t say no to coming back and working with the students and instructors of Mathnasium again! Now that he’s back, Shawn’s looking forward to seeing his friends again and playing some outdoor sports like spikeball, basketball, and ultimate frisbee.

Georgina

Instructor
Georgina is studying Kinesiology at the UofS. She is also playing on the women's Huskie soccer team. She has always loved math and has a passion for helping explain math concepts to kids. When she's not at school or soccer practice you can find her baking cookies or going for walks by the river.

Kassandra

Virtual Instructor
Kassandra works with our online students to teach math in a way that makes sense to kids! Kassandra earned 5 years of experience as a Mathnasium student before joining our team of instructors - and her enthusiasm is palpable even to our online students. She has grown to love math and loves helping other students learn to love it too. When Kassandra isn't at Mathnasium she'll be spending her time dancing, biking, reading, or teaching fitness classes

Nida

Instructor
Meet Nida, the supermom with a flair for fun in the kitchen! When she's not busy being a mom to her two boys, she's cooking up a storm and exploring the delicious world of Mughlai cuisine. With a master's degree in Mathematics, she's got brains and taste buds to spare! Nida loves diving into investigation series and reality shows for some thrilling entertainment, and she's always up for a chat with kids: sharing riddles, facts, and hearing all about their plans.

Dylan

Ronin

Once upon a time, Ronin didn't love math - then he became a Mathnasium student and loved it so much he became a Mathnasium instructor! We love that Ronin knows our program inside out and is able to share his passion and experience with our students. Ask me about music!

Affaan

Elementary Instructor
Affaan has loved math since a young age and his passion for math & science has inspired him to work with our youngest students supporting them in their math journeys. Nathan Windels

Owner
Nathan is the Owner of Mathnasium of Saskatoon. Nathan has both a B.Eng. and M.Eng. from the University of Saskatchewan, and while at the UofS, he received several NSERC research scholarships as well as Graduate Teaching Fellowships to teach a general engineering course at the UofS for two consecutive years. Although involved in many extra-curricular activities and competitions, the highlight of his involvement at the UofS was being a part of the USST during NASA's space elevator centennial challenge. Nathan is married with four kids. Watching students struggle in math prompted him to begin his journey to the discovery of the Mathnasium Method. He is dedicated to helping the children and teens of the Saskatoon community and across the province truly understand math by teaching it in ways that make sense to them.

Leah Windels

Owner
As a mom of four busy kids, Leah knows being a parent is no easy task. She has also seen first-hand the impact a program like Mathnasium can have on homework time, children's attitudes, and family dynamics. Leah works mostly in the background making sure that payments are processed as efficiently as possible. Leah also does a great job picking fun items for the Mathnasium Prize cabinet, and likes going on adventures with her puppy.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
