Our instructors use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that combines personalized learning plans with mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written techniques to build math knowledge level by level.
This method ensures that each student receives tailored instruction that meets their unique needs and learning styles. By focusing on understanding fundamental concepts and developing critical thinking skills, our approach helps students build a strong mathematical foundation.
Our dedicated and specially trained math tutors offer personalized face-to-face instruction in a supportive and engaging environment. We work with students of all skill levels, both in-centre and online, to help them achieve math mastery.
Discover how Mathnasium tutors helped Halo become more confident in math.
Each Mathnasium student receives a personalized learning plan that considers their current skill level, knowledge gaps, and academic goals. Combined with our teaching approach, the plan is designed to help the student truly understand, master, and enjoy math.
Initially struggling with the lowest math grades in her class, Maddie worked with our tutors using a personalized approach tailored to her specific needs. Her learning plan focused on filling the gaps in her knowledge while building a strong foundation in key mathematical concepts. Discover how Mathnasium helped Maddie transform her math skills.
Meet the Team
Megan Seier
Centre Director
Megan is the Centre Director at Mathnasium of Saskatoon. Megan has over a decade of tutoring experience, plus degrees in both Mathematics and Electrical Engineering. During her time in university, Megan loved helping other students and used her spare time to teach Calculus tutorials on campus. Megan has always loved problem-solving and hopes to encourage the students and staff alike with her passion and knowledge. In love with patterns of many forms, when Megan isn't doing math for fun you might find her social dancing with her husband, or writing poetry. Megan's favourite part of tutoring is seeing students' confidence grow as they realize they are improving - and thinks that learning to tackle tough problems leads to resilience in other areas of life.
Dylan
Instructor
Dylan brings the hype to our Mathnasium sessions - ready to play games, share facts, and exude positivity. Dylan is studying education at the UofS, and loves helping our pre-calculus high school students
Jessica
Instructor
Jessica is studying education at the UofS. She is great at connecting with our shy students and noticing the students who aren't raising their hand.
Hasket
Lead Instructor
Hasket has degrees in Math and Management Science, but more than that he sees what isn't being asked for - like if students are stuck but not raising their hands, or have forgotten to switch to working on their homework from school. We are thrilled to have Hasket as a part of our Saskatoon Team.
Georgina
Instructor
Georgina is studying Kinesiology at the UofS. She is also playing on the women's Huskies soccer team. She has always loved math and has a passion for helping explain math concepts to kids. She's also great at helping with homework that's in French. When she's not at school or soccer practice you can find her baking cookies or going for walks by the river.
Chelsea
Instructor
Chelsea is a nurse and a math enthusiast. She loves helping with our events like Pi Day and school Math Nights.
She is passionate about supporting others and making people smile. From a very young age, Chelsea’s father would make learning a game for her, showing her that math can be fun! Now, her goal is to do the same for others.

Students can take 3 easy steps to enroll at Mathnasium.
All students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints what they already know and what they still need to learn.
Our caring, specially trained tutors work with elementary, middle, and high school students of all skill levels looking to learn and master any K-12 math class and topic, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus.
Yes, our students can attend Mathnasium at our centre or log into live, face-to-face sessions with their tutor.
Each student is given a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints their strengths, knowledge gaps, and unique goals, so that we can create a personalized learning plan that will put them on the best path to math mastery.
Unlike a math class, Mathnasium teaches to the individual. Our expert instructors provide face-to-face instruction at the right pace for each student.
We use The Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, so they're able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.
We empower students of all skill levels to excel in math, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey.
We work with advanced students to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential. At Mathnasium, advanced students can explore the topics beyond their school’s math curriculum and receive personalized support to achieve their unique academic goals.
If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrolment packages.
