Barindra holds a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Economics and an MBA from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. After a successful corporate career with TELUS, Coast Capital Savings, and BCLC, she opened her first Mathnasium centre in South Surrey in 2013, inspired by helping her son with math.
Barindra believes math is more than grades—it builds logic, reasoning, and lifelong problem-solving skills. She is passionate about helping students develop confidence and a strong math foundation for future success.
Jasman earned her Associate of Science degree and began her Mathnasium journey as a math instructor. Her dedication and talent quickly led her to the role of Assistant Centre Director and now, Centre Director.
Jasman is passionate about helping students thrive. She loves watching learners grow more confident with every session and is committed to unlocking each child's full math potential.
Hiloki is a fifth-year Business Administration student at Simon Fraser University with a keen interest in technology, computers, and artificial intelligence. Having faced his own challenges with math, he understands the frustration that can come with learning, and the joy that follows when concepts start to click.
At Mathnasium, Hiloki enjoys helping students see that math isn’t something to fear—it’s a subject full of fun and discovery once it starts to make sense.
Girija holds a Master’s in Computer Applications and a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and Education. With over 19 years of experience as a math teacher in the Middle East, she has a deep commitment to making math accessible and enjoyable for students of all levels.
After moving to Canada, Girija joined Mathnasium to continue her passion for teaching. She brings warmth, patience, and a deep well of knowledge to every session she leads.
Alla graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor’s in Health Sciences and is currently pursuing further studies in medical imaging. Her love for both healthcare and mathematics brought her to Mathnasium, where she blends her interests by helping young learners thrive.
Alla believes teaching is a two-way street—she enjoys learning from her students just as much as she enjoys helping them. She’s passionate about making math approachable and showing kids how fun it can be.
