Harold’s journey with math began with struggles in confidence that turned into inspiration after receiving private tutoring in high school. This shift fueled his passion for math and science, leading him to graduate with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta in 2015. Along the way, he discovered his love for teaching through tutoring students in grades 7–12.
After a career as a project engineer and later as a personal trainer, Harold returned to his first calling: math instruction. He now inspires young minds to build confidence, discover their potential, and develop a love for math.
Gabe is a bright and adaptable instructor who brings contagious enthusiasm for mathematics to every session. Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering at the University of Alberta, he models persistence and curiosity for students while creating a supportive learning environment.
He believes math offers meaningful answers about the world and finds solving tough problems highly rewarding. Gabe loves extending his passion for math to his community, helping students discover the same joy while building confidence in their abilities.
Ayden is a physiology major at the University of Alberta with aspirations of becoming a pediatrician. His natural empathy and fascination with problem solving make him a thoughtful and engaging instructor at Mathnasium. His background in sports, mentorship, and hockey coaching adds to his ability to connect with kids and encourage them to persevere.
He enjoys puzzles, helping others, and supporting students through their struggles because he understands those challenges firsthand. Ayden is excited to share his love of math and inspire students to grow in both skill and confidence.
Laura joined the team after graduating as valedictorian from Paul Kane High School in 2024. With aspirations of becoming a neurologist, she brings discipline, curiosity, and a structured approach to teaching. Her dedication and strong academic track record make her a role model for students.
She loves working with students, seeing their progress, and helping them develop perseverance as they grow in math. Laura finds fulfillment in helping kids enjoy the subject and believes Mathnasium provides the perfect environment for them to succeed.
