High School Math Tutoring and Instruction- Opening doors for more opportunities in lives

In BC, high school students focus on higher math including Algebra 1 & 11, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Statistics and Financial Math, and also some students focus on preparation of advanced placement (AP) programs, international baccalaureate  programs placement or international standardized college or university entrance exams such as SAT and ACT.

Mathnasium Approach

When the teenagers enter high school, all students are at different skill levels. To determine each individual students’ abilities and skills, Mathnasium of Tri-Cities perform a written and verbal assessment unique to Mathnasium Method. Based on the assessment, our experienced staff create customised learning plans to fit the students’ specific needs. When creating learning plans, we consider two important things; avoid spending time on things they already know and strengthen the areas they need help to reduce their frustration on their homework and build confidence.

placement tests, Mathnasium provides test prep curriculum, customized to their specific exam,
after assessing them for the specific target. Based on this assessment, we create an
instructional plan to meet their goals within the deadlines. We will work on the specific plan
along with practical practice in test taking, promising their high performance in exams.
