Meet the Team
Sheetal
Centre Director
Hello, I'm Sheetal, the Centre Director at Mathnasium of West Vancouver. I've been with Mathnasium for three years, and the journey has been incredibly rewarding. During this time, I’ve had the opportunity to grow and develop my skills, eventually earning a promotion to Centre Director here in West Vancouver. I graduated from the University of Toronto with a major in Mathematics and Chemistry. My career has included work in various laboratories, but my passion for mathematics has always remained strong.
I still fondly remember playing multiplication table games with my parents and friends, and as someone once said, 'Wherever there is number, there is beauty.' I’ve been in the teaching profession since 2013, and the most wonderful part of this career is that I learn something new every day. Each time I solve an equation, I discover a new method and thoroughly enjoy the process.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy playing badminton and basketball. My favorite number is 1, because I strive to be the best. And my favorite joke? Why should a math teacher never call her students average? Because it’s a 'mean' thing to say.
Kirti
Assistant Center Director
Hi, I’m Kirti, and mathematics has always been my first love. I hold a bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, a master's in Zoology and Business Administration, and I am currently enrolled in an MBA program. Over the past three years, I have worked as a math and programming instructor, helping students develop their skills and confidence. For the past four years, I have had the privilege of working one-on-one with students from various grade levels, guiding them to discover the joy and beauty of math. I believe math is more than just numbers; it’s a story waiting to be unfolded step by step. At Mathnasium, our mission is to inspire a love for math in every student, and I’m dedicated to making that a reality.

Having a solid foundation in math is critical for success in all aspects of life, and It’s exciting to be helping students build that foundation.
Bhanu

Hi! I’m Bhanu Priya. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and have three years of experience working as a software engineer. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Computer Networking. My love for math and problem-solving has always been at the core of my journey. To me, solving math problems is like working through a fascinating puzzle, and I love helping students see just how enjoyable it can be. My experience in coding and chess has sharpened my problem-solving skills, and earning full marks in Grade 10 math has inspired me to make learning math fun and approachable for everyone. I’m excited to guide students in building a strong foundation in math and making it a rewarding experience!

Students can take 3 easy steps to enroll at Mathnasium.
All students begin their Mathnasium journey with a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints what they already know and what they still need to learn.
Our caring, specially trained tutors work with elementary, middle, and high school students of all skill levels looking to learn and master any K-12 math class and topic, including Algebra, Geometry, and Calculus.
Yes, our students can attend Mathnasium at our centre or log into live, face-to-face sessions with their tutor.
Each student is given a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints their strengths, knowledge gaps, and unique goals, so that we can create a personalized learning plan that will put them on the best path to math mastery.
Unlike a math class, Mathnasium teaches to the individual. Our expert instructors provide face-to-face instruction at the right pace for each student.
We use The Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, so they're able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.
We empower students of all skill levels to excel in math, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up, or get ahead on their math journey.
We work with advanced students to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential. At Mathnasium, advanced students can explore the topics beyond their school’s math curriculum and receive personalized support to achieve their unique academic goals.
If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrolment packages.
To help you understand if Mathnasium is the right fit for your child, we invite you to take advantag...
