Centre Director
Hello, I'm Sheetal, the Centre Director at Mathnasium of West Vancouver. I've been with Mathnasium for three years, and the journey has been incredibly rewarding. Over time, I've had the chance to grow and develop my skills, which led to my promotion as Centre Director here in West Vancouver. I hold a postgraduate degree in Analytical Chemistry and have worked in various laboratories. Mathematics has always been my favorite subject. I still remember playing multiplication table games with my parents and friends. As someone once said, "Wherever there is number, there is beauty." I've been in the teaching profession since 2013, and the most wonderful aspect of this career is that I learn something new every day. Each time I solve an equation, I discover a new method and thoroughly enjoy the process. Besides teaching, I enjoy playing badminton and basketball. Favorite number: 1, because I strive to be the best. Favorite joke: Why should a math teacher never call her students average? Because it's a "mean" thing to say.

Nandan Nishad

Nandan has a bachelors degree in Engineering and currently enrolled in a computer science program at Langara. Nandan believes that is important to build foundations of logic and truly enjoys helping students reach their full potential. Besides Math, Nandan likes programming, running and lifting weights

Amin Abdolkhani

Hello! My name is Amin and I’m very enthusiastic about being an instructor at Mathnasium. I recently graduated from UBC with a degree in Engineering, so I am passionate about all things that involve math. Through my undergraduate, I took on various teaching assistant and summer camp instructor roles, which definitely help me communicate well with our mathletes. Having a solid foundation in math is critical for success in all aspects of life, and It’s exciting to be helping students build that foundation.

Hi, I’m Kirti, and mathematics has always been my first love. For the past four years, I have had the privilege of working one-on-one with students from various grade levels, helping them discover the joy and beauty of math. I believe math is more than just numbers; it’s a story waiting to be unfolded step by step. At Mathnasium, our mission is to inspire a love for math in every student, and I’m dedicated to making that a reality.

Bhanu Priya

Hi! I’m Bhanu Priya. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Computer Networking. My love for math and problem-solving has always been at the core of my journey. To me, solving math problems is like working through a fascinating puzzle, and I love helping students see just how enjoyable it can be. My experience in coding and chess has really sharpened my problem-solving skills, and earning full marks in Grade 10 math has inspired me to make learning math fun and approachable for everyone. I’m excited to guide students in building a strong foundation in math and making it a rewarding experience!

My name is Rishva Amin, and I am an Information Technology student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Throughout my academic journey, I have built a solid foundation in tutoring, particularly through my role at Mathnasium of West Vancouver. I am dedicated to creating a positive and supportive learning environment that allows students to excel in mathematics. My communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills help make complex mathematical concepts more accessible, ensuring that students both grasp and enjoy the subject. I look forward to further contributing to the success of our students and the Mathnasium team

Rosmy Mathew

Hi, I’m Rosmy! Teaching mathematics has been a passion of mine that I’ve pursued with both dedication and joy. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on Mathematics and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Mathematics at UBC. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with students of all ages, helping them not only understand math but also appreciate its beauty and logic. I view math as an exciting journey of discovery, where each concept is like uncovering a new piece of the puzzle. At Mathnasium, our goal is to unlock every student's potential and foster a genuine love for math. My mission is to ensure every student feels confident and enthusiastic about the subject, and I’m dedicated to making that a reality.
