October 19, 2019 - Mathnasium at the Building for Kids STEM Free Day!
FREE admission to the Building for Kids Children's Museum from 9a.m. to 5p.m.!
Mathnasium is proud to a part of the BFK Kids STEM Free Day, representing the M in STEM! You'll find us there with activities and prizes from 11a.m. to 4p.m.
Part of the Wisconsin Science Festival, this free admission day will let kids investigate different interactive STEM activities and programming, including a visit by Professor Gizmo (and Ace!).
July 18-20, 2019 - Mathnasium at Paperfest!
Count on Mathnasium to celebrate our local community at the 2019 Paperfest on July 20!
Mathnasium is proud to be a Gold Level partner for the 2019 Paperfest at Sunset Park in Kimberly!
Paperfest is a free-admission community driven festival featuring live music, great food, sporting events, games, rides, family fun, and much more! Paperfest strengthens our community by utilizing the expertise of volunteers and generosity of partners to bring the community together and have fun!
We'll be hanging out with our mascot Ace in the Family Tent on Saturday, July 20 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, sharing fun math activities and prizes. You can learn more about Paperfest at their website and on their Facebook page.
June 15, 2019 - Mathnasium at the Fox Cities Butterfly Festival!
Mathnasium is ready to fly with the Fox Cities Butterfly Festival!
The Fox Cities Butterfly Festival is an annual family fun event held each June in Appleton. The event opens at 9:00 am with registration and light breakfast foods. Activities include face painting and crafts, kids’ games and entertainment, and butterfly demonstrations. In the spirit of "Helping Families Fly", the event closes with a group release of over 1,000 butterflies.
Mathnasium will have a booth at this event, so stop by to answer butterfly-themed math questions, win prizes and meet our mascot Ace! This family event is free, but if you'd like to release a butterfly, you can register to release your own by June 13 at https://foxcitiesbutterflyfestival.com/.
April 26, 2019 - Mathnasium at the Timber Rattlers Game!
Mathnasium is backing the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers!
We'll be at the stadium with our mascot, Ace, this Friday, April 26 at 6:35, where the T-Rats will be facing the Burlington Bees, and one of our students will throw out the first pitch!
If your student is interested in throwing out the pitch for Mathnasium, please let Ellen know by Thursday, April 25. We'll draw from those interested on Friday morning and award the winner with the first pitch, and four tickets to Friday's game!
It's Mini Figure Night at the T-Rats, where they are celebrating everyone's favorite building blocks with a Fang T. Rattler Mini Figure to the first 1,000 fans through the gates. They'll also have character appearances, fun videos, a Miller Park building blocks replica on display, and a post-game Kids Run the Bases event.
April 6, 2019 - Come see us at the Fox Cities Kidz Expo in Appleton
This is a FREE family event filled with fun, education & adventure.
FUN -- interactive activities & entertainment for children and parents: Activities may include face painting, inflatables, photos with favorite costumed characters, crafts, balloon animals, diaper derby, puppets, tot-zones, magicians, petting zoo, sand bag toss, and on-going entertainment throughout the day.
EDUCATION -- products, services and information: Exhibitors will present engaging, interactive displays or activities, making it fun for families to participate. Examples of exhibitors include museums, nature centers, summer camps, dentists & doctors, toy stores, clothing stores, music schools. There will also be brief seminars/programs, such as Kid's Nutrition, Yell & Tell, YMCA programming, martial arts, and bicycle safety, and information resource booths.
ADVENTURE -- exciting & enjoyable experiences: Examples of adventures include fire trucks and construction vehicles, games, science activities, nature & wildlife, treasure hunt, crafts, dance, and an obstacle course.

March 14, 2019 - Pi Day Celebration!
Everyone is invited to celebrate Pi Day with us at Mathnasium on Thursday, March 14 from 3:30PMto 7:30PM! This event is open to the public, so bring a friend and come in for Pi!
We'll be celebrating with Pizza Pi, Apple and Cherry Pi (and others), Pi Cookie Decorating, and lots of fun Pi activities.
Pi Day is not only the celebration of the irrational number Pi, but also Albert Einstein's birthday! Come learn more about why you should care about Pi!
February 19, 2019 - Official Ribbon Cutting Open House and Lunch
We're making it official! Please join us for our ribbon cutting with the Heart of the Valley and Fox Cities Chambers of Commerce. We're hosting an open house on February 19 from 11am - 1pm, with the ribbon cutting at 11:30am. We'll be serving lunch and welcome all to come by! Check out our event on our Facebook event page!
February 2, 2019 - Come see us at the Einstein Expo in Green Bay
Mathnasium is excited to be participating in the 2019 Einstein STEM Expo on February 2 at Shopko Hall in Green Bay.
This is the Einstein Expo's 16th year, attracting over 3,800 youth and families each year. The Einstein Expo is a day full of activities, running from 9am- 4pm, to provide opportunities for families to interact with, explore, and view demonstrations of science, engineering, technology, and math hobbies and careers.
Over 100 exhibitors will be in attendance hosting interactive activities, as well as a main stage with STEM entertainment and performances. Families and students of all grade levels are welcome!
Tickets are available at the doors for $4, and age 2 and under are free. Learn more about the Einstein Expo on their Facebook Page.
