Mo is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Eugene. Prior to opening the center, Mo's managerial experience includes Financial Manager at Sundance Natural Foods & Wine Cellars, Marketing Manager at Blue Lake Casino, and in the online education (e-Learning) industry: Item Development Manager at Avant Assessment, and Rater Manager at Diglossia. He also launched 2 language programs at 2 universities, a newspaper, a food truck, 2 restaurants, and a polling website. In CA, Mo earned a Bachelor in Finance, an MBA in Sustainability, a Minor in Computers, and a teaching certificate, prior to teaching at the University of Oregon for 4 years. Having benefited from years of math tutoring as a child, Mo is enthusiastic about helping every child in the Eugene-Springfield community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. He has taught and coached children of all ages for over 2 decades, and he is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in his community. Mo is fluent in 5 languages, and has 2 kids in the French immersion programs at Roosevelt Middle School and South Eugene High School. He also coaches tennis at Eugene YMCA and soccer at Eugene Timbers, and plays 2 musical instruments at public events.
