• What math classes can your instructors teach?

  Our caring, specially trained instructors work with elementary, middle, and high school students of all skill levels looking to learn and master any K-12 math class and topic, including Algebra, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.

• Why do you require an assessment for enrollment?

  Each student is given a diagnostic assessment that pinpoints their strengths, knowledge gaps, and unique goals, so that we can create a personalized learning plan that will put them on the best path to math mastery.

• Do you work with advanced students, or only the ones struggling with math?

  We empower students of all skill levels to excel in math, whether they are looking to catch up, keep up or get ahead on their math journey.
  
  We work with advanced students to expand their math skills and help them achieve their greatest potential. At Mathnasium, advanced students can explore the topics beyond their school's math curriculum and receive personalized support to achieve their unique academic goals.
  
  If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.

• What does Mathnasium cost? How frequently should my child attend?

  Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat monthly membership fee for our program, and students attend regularly -- much like a gym membership. We recommend students attend at least 8 times per month (as attending less frequently will slow results), however our program gives families the flexibility to schedule sessions as they wish each month, allowing Mathnasium to fit every family's busy schedule!

• Do you accept funding from Charter Schools?

  Yes! Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills proudly serves students from Cabrillo Point Academy, Elite Academy, Excel Academy, iLead Charter School, and Suncoast Charter School.

• How do you teach math? What method or curriculum do you use?

  We use the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach which combines personalized learning plans with proven techniques to build math knowledge upon what students already know, so they're able to retain what they learn and gain confidence along the way.
  
  The Mathnasium Method™, combined with our small groups setting, allows for students to have more a more individualized learning experience.

• Do you give extra homework to students?

  No! All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework risks frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside time during each session to help your student with their math homework from their classroom!

• Is there a way for me to know my student is improving while they're enrolled at Mathnasium of Anaheim Hills?

  Yes! Our center staff is always available for updates through phone, text, email, or in person Parent Conferences. Progress Reports are also periodically sent out, so parents have a visual representation of how their students are progressing through their personalized learning plans. Students also go through multiple reassessments during their enrollment, so that our staff can make sure that each student's learning plan is kept up to date with what every student needs at that exact time.
