A: Our pre-assessment allows us to determine exactly where a student is in their math journey. Whenever a student comes in for this assessment, it allows us to determine which concepts the students already have mastered, and which topics they can focus on here at the center. We build each student's individualized learning plan based on the comprehensive assessment they take, when they come here for the first time.
Q: Why do students need to take tests?
A: Assessments are key to understanding a student. They give students the opportunity to express the skills they have mastered, as well as, which ones they need help with. Individual tests build students' confidence in working by themselves and strengthening their problem-solving abilities. We have specialized learning plans built for ACT/SAT prep students to get them exactly where they need to be by the time testing season comes along.
