Q: How does your Center/re show festive spirit?
A: We have themed days like "Ugly Sweater Day" and "Christmas Socks Day," as well as, decorations and fun Christmas-themed prizes. This year, we will be sharing gingerbread cookies and gingerbread houses to celebrate National Gingerbread House day!
Q: What’s your favorite holiday tradition?
A: I always love going to the tree farm to pick out our Christmas Tree for the year. Wagoner's Tree Farm in Greencastle is our family's favorite! I love the smell of a live tree in the house. I also love baking holiday favorites like Conga Bars and Gingerbread cookies. And of course, the opportunity to spend time with my family, including my kids who live far away, is SUPER important to me!
Q: What does your family like to eat during the holidays?
A: I love holiday baking, whether it is Gingerbread cookies, or Butterscotch meringue pie, or Cinnamon Streusel Cake! YUM! Our family usually has Omelets and Cinnamon Streusel Cake to go with LOTS of chocolate candy for Christmas morning breakfast, after the presents are opened.
