1. When was your center/re’s grand opening??
A: Our center opened in December of 2021, but we had a re-opening of sort this February, after Susan transitioned from "just" being our Center Director to also being our owner. Our center has grown so much in the last year and a half!
2. Of all your employees, who has been with you the longest?
A: Three of our employees, James, Daniel, and Andrea have been with us since before the center opened, and transitioned from the Brownsburg center when we opened here in Avon. Of those three, James has been with us the longest. James has been with us since January of 2020, and is an all-around excellent instructor working with students of all ages and levels.
3. Who is the owner/director of your center?
A: Susan Kolozsvari initially came to Mathnasium as an instructor in Brownsburg in September of 2019. She found the program so compelling that she quickly chose to take on more commitment and responsibility, and when the Avon IN center was opened, Susan took on the Center Director role. Recently, she was given the opportunity to purchase the center, and she is growing into this new role. In her "spare" time, Susan is an avid knitter and also a stained glass artist.
4. What local schools does your center serve?
A: Mathnasium of Avon IN draws students from Avon Community Schools, Plainfield Community Schools, Danville Community Schools, and the surrounding communities. We even have students drive in from as far away as Raccoon Lake, and Bloomington!
5. What are parents saying about your center?
A: "My kid was so stressed about math before joining Mathnasium but now math is a subject where he is least stressed! Thanks to the Mathnasium staff and their strategies :) My kids love going to the center each and every day. It is worth the investment."
