Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove's personalized geometry tutoring programs are designed to support students at every stage of their math journey.
We introduce middle school students to foundational concepts like angles, shapes, congruence, and basic measurement, building the spatial reasoning and logical thinking skills needed for high school geometry.
Our tutors guide students through core topics—triangles, circles, proofs, transformations, and the Pythagorean theorem—using personalized plans that make abstract concepts clear and build problem-solving confidence.
Honors students and competition participants can receive targeted support for challenging topics like advanced proofs, coordinate geometry, and complex problem-solving strategies that prepare them for college-level coursework and math competitions.
At Mathnasium of Buffalo Grove, our tutors work with students of all skill levels to help them learn and master any K–12 geometry topic, from angles and shapes to coordinate geometry and formal proofs.
Whether your student is in middle school or tackling honors-level high school geometry, we meet them where they are and help them grow.
We teach geometry using the Mathnasium Method™, a proprietary teaching approach designed to promote math mastery, including a deep understanding of geometry.
By combining personalized learning plans with interactive teaching techniques, we help students not only grasp key geometry concepts but also enjoy the learning process.
We start each student’s journey with a diagnostic assessment to evaluate their skills and goals. From there, we create a personalized learning plan focused on the topics they need most, such as congruence, transformations, area and volume, or logic and proofs.
Once the learning plan is in place, our tutors provide targeted instruction, adapting to each student’s learning style to close any learning gaps, strengthen their geometry foundation, and build lasting confidence.

Specially Trained and Caring Team
Breanna Martin
Center Director
Breanna is from Alabama and relocated to the Buffalo Grove area last year. She has always loved the topic of mathematics and has been teaching it to others since she was in sixth grade. After graduating from Auburn University with their degree in Pure Mathematics, Breanna decided she wanted to continue working with Mathnasium like she had during college, but as a center director instead! Breanna loves being able to meet students where they are at and build their mathematics confidence! When they aren't in the center, Breanna is in the city with their friends going to local coffee shops and different live shows!
Dylan
Assistant Center Director
Dylan is from Chicago and moved to the suburbs as a teenager. He has a bachelor’s in mathematics and a minor in history. He used to play soccer and still watches it! He also really enjoys cycling and chess. What he likes about math is the logical flow and discovery of patterns.
Abinaya
Instructor
Abinaya loves spending her time teaching others! She has been an instructor at Mathnasium for many years as well as a teacher at Country Meadows. When she is not educating in one way or another, she enjoys spending time with family.
Sandhya
Instructor
Sandhya is an ambitious high school student that loves helping students with math! She is a Mock Trial state champion and loves to encourage students to build their math confidence and skills
Saathwik
Instructor
Hi, I'm Saathwik Bhamidipaty, I'm a senior in high school with a passion for all things math. While I enjoy a good challenge in any area of math, calculus is my favorite. I love the way it helps us understand the world and solve complex problems. When I'm not doing math, you can probably find me watching episodes of my favorite show, Suits. Some other things I love doing is going to the beach or to hang out with my friends.
Maya
Instructor
Maya has always loved math and enjoys helping kids build confidence and develop a genuine love for learning it. She is passionate about creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel motivated to grow. She especially enjoys real-world applications of math, because they show students how what they’re learning actually connects to their lives—making math more meaningful and fun. Outside of Mathnasium, Maya enjoys playing and coaching tennis.
Aidan
Instructor
Aidan has always loved math and problem solving since he was young. When he first started teaching during high school he realized he enjoyed spreading that love of math and problem solving in a way that helps students continue to grow. When not having fun teaching, Aidan likes to read, hang out with friends, and play all kinds of board games and video games. Aidan is also a big fan of music and film.
