Cat brings nearly 8 years of experience working remotely with schools across the country, specializing in special education and leading key projects in that field. Based in Tucson, she’s the proud mom of three children, including her youngest, 16-year-old son still at home.
After joining Mathnasium as an instructor in July, Cat quickly found fulfillment in directly helping students grow their confidence and math skills. Now as Center Director, she’s excited to support the Catalina Foothills community with quality math education. In her free time, she enjoys music, art, roller skating, board games, video games, hiking, and family time.
Mimi is currently a student at Pima Community College, majoring in Liberal Arts with a focus on Social Services. To her, math is more than just a subject—it’s a universal language used in everyday life across all cultures. Mimi joined the Mathnasium team to help make math more approachable and less intimidating for students. She believes that, like any language, the more you practice math, the more fluent you become. Her approach is rooted in the belief that “to teach is to learn twice,” and she takes pride in supporting students with patience and care.
Outside of school and work, Mimi enjoys watching movies, listening to music, reading, and doing crafts. She also has a passion for learning new languages and loves exploring different cultures through their words and stories.
