Reed

Reed is an ACD at Mathnasium, where he helps students build confidence and improve their math skills in a supportive learning environment. He enjoys making math more approachable and engaging for students of all ages. With a strong focus on leadership, communication, and student success, he works closely with families, instructors, and students to create a positive and motivating experience at the center.

Anthony

Anthony has a passion for gymnastics rings, drawn to the physics of leverage and movement, and he sees math as central to understanding both. He brings that same analytical curiosity to his work with students at Mathnasium. 

At Mathnasium, Anthony is motivated by helping students find their own way into math and discover that it connects to more of the world around them than they might expect. 

Hayden

Hi, I’m Hayden! I enjoy helping students understand math and making learning engaging and rewarding. I’ve always liked working with others and teaching, especially when I can help someone go from being stuck on a problem to confidently solving it on their own. Outside of teaching, I’m interested in game development, where I combine creativity, problem-solving, and technology to create fun and interactive experiences. I’m excited to help students strengthen their math skills, build confidence, and discover that math can be both challenging and enjoyable!

Jackson

Jackson is a Mathematics major at UNLV, class of 2026, drawn to the subtleties of the subject that often go unnoticed but make all the difference in how math feels to a student. He believes passion is essential to teaching: you cannot share what you do not have. 

For Jackson, guiding a student to the satisfaction of working through a genuinely challenging problem is every bit as fulfilling as solving one himself. 

Kevin G

Kevin is an Honors College student at UNLV studying Secondary Math Education and Choral Music Education, with minors in Business Administration and Spanish. After graduation, he plans to become a high school teacher. In his free time, he enjoys playing games and making music. 

At Mathnasium, Kevin brings genuine enthusiasm for learning to every session. He is motivated by helping students grow in both their math abilities and their confidence in the subject. 

Gio

Hi! My name is Giovanni, but I go by Gio. I’m excited to be an instructor at Mathnasium and help students build their math skills and confidence. Outside of Mathnasium, I enjoy listening to music and playing soccer. I look forward to getting to know you and helping you succeed on your math journey!

Kyzer

Kyzer is an Instructor at Mathnasium, where he helps students build confidence and strengthen their math skills in a supportive learning environment. He enjoys making math more understandable and helping students reach their academic goals. Kyzer is passionate about creating a positive experience that encourages growth and problem-solving.

Angel

Hi I'm Angel. I love being an instructor at Mathnasium, helping students improve their math skills and become more confident and comfortable with the material they're learning. I've always had a passion for helping others with anything that they struggle with, especially math! I'm so excited to help students build confidence with their math skills, so that they're able to enjoy the subject even when it may be difficult at first.

Brandon Meyers

Brandon Meyers is a Center Director at Mathnasium and is an almost lifelong Las Vegas resident, having grown up in the Las Vegas Valley since middle school.

Prior to joining Mathnasium, Brandon spent 10 years in management roles, where he developed strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that he now brings into his work with students, families, and staff.

Brandon is very family-oriented and is a proud father of three daughters. He values building strong relationships with students and families and creating a supportive learning environment where students can grow in confidence and skill.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing video games.

Dan Saposhnik

Dan holds a BS in Microbiology from the University of Arizona and an MBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. He worked as a CPA with Price Waterhouse before building successful companies in real estate and executive recruiting. His passion for working with children is rooted in family tradition: his mother was a highly regarded principal in Las Vegas for nearly 30 years. 

At Mathnasium, Dan is committed to helping Las Vegas students build real math skills, genuine understanding, and the kind of confidence that carries over into everything they do.

Laurie Wasser Saposhnik

Laurie graduated from UCLA in 1986 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Before joining Mathnasium, she built a successful career working with Fortune 500 high-tech companies, including IBM, SAP, EMC, TIBCO, and MicroStrategy.
Laurie’s passion for teaching and working with children is deeply rooted in her family values. Her father, a dedicated special education teacher, spent over 30 years shaping young minds in California. Following in his footsteps, Laurie is committed to empowering children in the Las Vegas community by improving their math skills, fostering a strong understanding of mathematical concepts, and building their confidence to succeed academically.
In addition to her work at Mathnasium, Laurie volunteers as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), where she advocates for the best interests of children in foster care. This role reflects her dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and supporting their growth and well-being.
