Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.


Aaron Bowler is a bright young man who has a creative mind. He works at mathnasium to help others learn how to use their imaginations to think of new ways for solving problems. He plans to continue his education in college. He is interested in animation and civil engineering. Aaron Bowler wants to promote creativity and innovation in learning and daily life.


Marissa is currently a junior in the Engineering program at Advanced Technologies Academy. She hopes to further explore the engineering field and find what’s best for her. She has had a passion for math since she was young and has excelled in math throughout her school career. Marissa hopes to teach others math in a way that will help them not only understand it, but appreciate it as well. While she enjoys math, she has many other passions such as playing the cello, reading, and listening to music. She is currently a cellist in the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra Philharmonic and she hopes to further her abilities and experiences as a player.


Chloe is currently a senior at Ed W Clark High School in the Academy of Mathematics, Science, Arts, and Technology. She loves math because of its continuity and connections to science. She recently joined Mathnasium to help teach math to young students in her community. Chloe plans to double major in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics in university. In her free time she enjoys building robots, coding, and solving physics problems.


Amanda was raised as a military child and moved to Las Vegas in 2016 when her dad retired from the army. Amanda is currently a Speech and Language Pathology grad student at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She has always enjoyed teaching and has been with MATHnasium on and off since 2019. She remembers when her brother was a student with MATHnsaium and the way it helped him enjoy math. She also loves the support and care instructors show to students and each other. Outside of MATHnasium, some of her favorite things to do are read, write, and spend time with friends.


Chelsea has always been interested in math, from when she told her kindergarten teacher that a diamond is a rhombus. Chelsea graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a BA in Mathematics and MEd in Teaching. She taught students in Hawaii in middle school and high school math classes for 5 years. She has always enjoyed helping students to find their aha moment in math.

Dan Saposhnik

Director of Operations
Dan graduated from the University of Arizona in 1985 with a B.S. in Microbiology and from Hofstra University's Graduate School of Business in 1990 with an MBA in Accounting. He worked as a CPA with public accounting firm Price Waterhouse and has built successful companies in various fields including real estate and executive recruiting. Dan's passion for teaching and love for working with kids is rooted in family tradition. His mother was a highly regarded principal in Las Vegas for nearly 30 years. Dan has taught and tutored children of all ages and was a mentor for underprivileged children. Dan is committed to significantly increasing Las Vegas children's math skills, their understanding of math concepts and their overall school performance. "We provide lots of warm encouragement in a very positive learning environment so that children build their confidence and develop a winning attitude towards math. Our kids learn math in a way that makes sense to them. They get excited about math and this spirit carries over into everything they do."

Laurie Wasser Saposhnik

Director of Marketing and Community Outreach
Laurie graduated from UCLA in 1986 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. Prior to joining Mathnasium, Laurie worked for various Fortune 500 high tech companies such as IBM, SAP, EMC, TIBCO and MicroStrategy. Laurie's passion for teaching and love for working with kids is rooted in family tradition. Her father taught special education at the high school level for over 30 years in California. Laurie is committed to partnering with the Las Vegas community to increase Las Vegas children's math skills, their understanding of math concepts and their confidence in their ability to be successful.


Assistant Director
Brandon Kwasniewski is a recent graduate from UNLV where he earned his B.S. in Mathematics. From a young age, his interests in multiple STEM fields grew into a passion for both physics and mathematics, but especially astrophysics as he plans to do research in applied mathematics for astrophysics in grad school. Outside of education, Brandon is an avid video game collector, huge fan of sports, lover of rock & metal music, and that's just the start of the many interests to round out this Assistant Director's personality.


Lead Instructor
Kevin is a student at the Honors College of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas studying Secondary Math Education and Choral Music Education. He also has minors in Business Administration and Spanish. After graduation, his goal is to become a high school teacher. He enjoys helping students to improve their abilities and confidence in math. He also enjoys sharing his enthusiasm for learning and education with his students. In his free time, Kevin enjoys playing games and making music.
