At Mathnasium of Center City, we love celebrating students who show determination, consistency, and growth in their math journey. This month, we’re excited to recognize Kento as our Student of the Month!
Kento has been working hard to strengthen his math skills and continues to approach challenges with persistence and humor. When asked what motivates him while solving math problems, Kento shared, “Completing questions forces up the dopamine.”
When Kento first joined Mathnasium, his impression was simple and straightforward: “It’s a learning center.” Since then, he has grown tremendously in both confidence and understanding.
Although Kento says he doesn’t have a favorite area of math “because they’re all hard,” he shared that scientific notation has gotten easier for him over time. He has also made strong progress with multiplying and dividing decimals, which was once a challenge.
Outside of Mathnasium, Kento enjoys gaming and drawing. He’s also a hockey player and got his start playing in middle school.
Kento’s dedication to learning and willingness to tackle difficult concepts head-on are what make him stand out. We are incredibly proud of the progress he has made and look forward to seeing all he continues to accomplish in math and beyond!
