Student of the Month: Jaiden
We’re excited to celebrate Jaiden as our Student of the Month at Mathnasium of Center City! Jaiden brings a thoughtful, hardworking, and determined energy to every session, and we’re so proud of his growth in math.
When Jaiden first came to Mathnasium, he noticed something unique about our center: “It was the only in-person tutoring place I could find. It was interesting to see all ages at the same center.” That sense of community—students of all grade levels learning together—is one of the things that makes Mathnasium special, and Jaiden has jumped right in.
Right now, Jaiden is especially excited about solving imaginary numbers. He’s also proud of the progress he’s made with challenging concepts like piecewise functions and logarithms. “It felt nice being able to answer it without second guessing myself,” he shared. That confidence is exactly what we love to see in our students!
Looking ahead, Jaiden has his sights set on raising his SAT score—a goal we know he’ll achieve with his dedication and perseverance. He appreciates how the Mathnasium instructors take the time to walk through problems step by step, giving him strategies he can use not just in math, but in all problem-solving.
Outside of math, Jaiden is just as impressive. He’s passionate about sports and has been playing baseball since he was three years old. As a pitcher, he throws a 2-seam, 4-seamer, and forkball with skill! Not surprisingly, his favorite team is the Philadelphia Phillies, and he looks up to Johan Rojas as his favorite player. When he’s not on the field, you might find him watching movies or reading.
