🌟 Student of the Month Spotlight: Linus 🌟

At Mathnasium of Center City, we’re proud to celebrate our students’ hard work and growth. This month, we’re excited to recognize Linus as our Student of the Month!

We sat down with Linus to learn more about his math journey, his goals, and what he enjoys most about learning at Mathnasium.

What’s your favorite thing about Mathnasium?
“My favorite thing is the instructors because they are kind and help break down the math step by step so I can understand.”

What was your first impression of Mathnasium?
“At first, I didn’t really want to do it. But through hard work with math, it's been rewarding, and now I enjoy being here.”

What area of math are you most passionate about right now?
“I like doing multiplication, division, addition, and subtraction.”

Tell us about a math challenge you’ve overcome.
“Long division was hard for me. It was annoying at first, but once I understood it, it felt so much better.”

Do you have future goals related to math?
“I would like to be a marine biologist when I grow up, so I’d like to learn the math for it since it does need it.”

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
“I like to play with my friends outside and read.”

We hear you’re a soccer player! How did you get started?
“I started playing when I was around 5 years old. I like the strategies people use, the competition, and the movements in soccer. My favorite position is midfield because you can play both defense and offense.”
