Q: How does Mathnasium celebrate its student's success?
A: We have a Brag Board in the Center where students can bring in an A+ test or quiz for a prize. We also celebrate students with Student of the Month. We have an Attendance Board which acknowledges students who have over 100, 200, 300, etc. sessions.
Q: Tell me about student’s reactions to having their work on the brag board.
A: They love to see their work up on the Brag Board. Of course, they love the candy prize we give them as an extra reward!
Q: What kind of work gets put up?
A: Any test or quiz which has an A grade can be put up on the Brag Board. While we really like 100%, we will post anything with an A grade.
Q: Do you have a favorite memory of the Brag Board?
A: We have seen a few students who have struggled with a certain Math topic, worked hard through those struggles and then get an A on their test. When we acknowledge their success, they are smiling from ear to ear!
