Q: How does Mathnasium celebrate its student's success?
A: We love posting about our student's successes in the center! When students get A's on tests or something that has been a real struggle for them in the past, we like to put it up on our brag board for them to show the world!
Q: Tell me about student’s reactions to having their work on the brag board.
A: Students really enjoy putting their 'brag' on the board. It encourages them to be proud of their achievement and celebrate their win! For the more quiet students, it's a way where they can show off without them having to do it, and for our more verbose students, they will happily point out their work to everyone!
Q: What kind of work gets put up?
A: We will post math tests with A's, general high grades, projects that the students have been working on. Anything that they feel like is a win for them!
Q: Do you have a favorite memory of the Brag Board?
A: We had a student who had struggled in math their entire life. When they got their first A on a math test, they couldn't wait to show us all and put it up on the board! It was their first achievement in Math!
