Eti & Leron Azeroual
Owners
Leron Azeroual and his wife, Eti, bring a wealth of experience and a deep passion for education. Having moved to Los Angeles in 2005 from Toronto, they both earned Bachelor’s degrees in Pure Mathematics and Education from the University of Toronto. Their shared commitment to teaching led them to careers in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), where they taught for over a decade. Leron later expanded his impact by teaching at Culver City High School for another 9 years, further honing his expertise in math education. Driven by their passion for math, Leron and Eti opened a Mathnasium to help students develop strong math skills and a positive attitude toward Math. Leron and Eti are residents of Playa Vista and have two beautiful children. They would consider it a privilege and an honor to help the children of Culver City and nearby communities to build a strong foundation and confidence towards mathematics through the Mathnasium Method.

Hi, my name is Mayra. I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology. I enjoy listening to music, watching baseball (Go Dodgers), and spending time with my family and friends. I love working at Mathnasium because I enjoy helping students understand math, one of my favorite subjects. I especially like seeing how happy students are when they finally understand a difficult concept.

Aarthi is a passionate Public Policy graduate with a focus on Education Policy from Georgia State University in Atlanta. With a lifelong love for math that started in high school, she brings both analytical skills and creativity to everything she does. When she's not working at Mathnasium, Aarthi dives into exciting social science research projects, uncovering insights that drive change. She's also an avid food enthusiast, always experimenting with new dishes, and holds a Master Chef Culinary Certificate from Chef Eric Crowley. Whether it's numbers or flavors, Aarthi is always ready to spark conversations about her two favorite passions-Math and Food!

My name is Mel. I’ve devoted most of my adult life to teaching and researching natural language – Russian, Russian linguistics, literature, and history. But early on, while struggling with the early stages of dissertation research at UCLA, I spent a few years teaching math, physics, and computers at Brentwood School, here in Los Angeles. That itself was not so far out of character, however, as my first love, in school and university, was and still is physics. Now I find myself returning to mathematics, the language of natural science, and I find I never really left it. The joy of doing mathematics with my grandchildren in recent years led me to getting the opportunity to do so here at Mathnasium, too.
