Our family is very pleased with every aspect of Mathnasium. The directors are very friendly, professional, and open to many questions and concerns. Scheduling for sessions has been easy and convenient. Most of all, my 7 year old granddaughter loves attending...she has gone from "hating math", to asking when she could go to "math class". Mathnasium has been really wonderful for my kiddo. She loathed math for the past few years and from the first assessment she had at the end of 2nd grade, she was in love. She asks to go every day that they are open. She has moved up an entire grade level of math in 2 months going almost every day. I believe the structure and incentives really work for her. Her private school was not able to tap into her love of learning for math, so I am thrilled Mathnasium has been able to do so. They are kind and know how to work with kids of all ages. Julie is especially terrific, enthusiastic, and great to work with.

Mathnasium is by far the best program for learning math. Mathnasium focuses on conceptual understanding of mathematics and using that understanding in different contexts. The students have individualized programs that find holes in a student's mathematical understanding and builds from there so that each student has a strong foundation before attempting more difficult topics. At Mathnasium of Garden Grove, the environment is so friendly and the students really grow in their confidence in mathematics! The employees really care about each individual student. The students are challenged but supported every step of the way. They receive individualized attention in between periods of working alone so that they get the help they need, but grow confident that they can do the math by themselves. This is the place to go for any student that wants to get ahead in math, have a deeper understanding of the math they already know, or get the help they need to catch up to their grade level and succeed in school. We love Mathnasium! Russell is very understanding and easy to work with. My daughter looks forward to going to her sessions and her grades have improved. Her confidence in doing her assignments and tests has also improved.

My 4th grader struggled in math at the start of the school year. We are lucky to have many franchises in the area and we tried a lot of options in the previous years. RSM with its 2h lectures and enormous homework did not work. Art of problem solving in person classes said they do lecture plus homework and their initial test was pretty weak - we decided not to go. We tried organized online math classes which my kid slept through. We also tried Beast academy online and it was way too challenging for her and she could not handle all the freedom of moving with its own pace and learning by herself. I knew my kid don't want to do another school after school and she would not do any extra homework. Mathnasium impressed me right away with its comprehensive initial test - you should go there even just for the test; it will be highly informative for you and your kid. They found a list of topics from previous grades that my kid was missing and needed to relearn. I loved that the learning plan is individualized, focusing only on areas where my child needed improvement and that there are always only 4 kids per instructor. We started taking her to Mathnasium in October; her initial test showed she was at around 50% knowledge for the 3rd grade. It's the end of April now and she is almost finished with 4th grade math and ready to switch to next year's curriculum. More importantly, she loves math now and feels genuinely good at it. At the start of the school year it could take her a week to finish math test that kids usually finish in 1 class. Nowadays, she finishes on time without any problems and gets 100% _every_single_time - this is a huge improvement, and Mathnasium played the main part in these results. Instructors are great and they really help her to focus on her work and guide her through struggles. There is also a game part which my kid absolutely loves: kids earn stars for finishing work, solving the problem of the week, and bringing 100% test scores from school. Although there are levels, cards, and complicated rules, my kid learned them very fast. Kids can buy real toys for their math work. My kid has been patiently saving for a big stuffed animal for months, she is very close and very excited to buy it soon. Did I mention the absolutely incredible administration at Mathnasium in Burlingame? They answer my emails and texts very fast, solved my problems and questions, are very helpful in any possible way and it's been a pleasure to work with them throughout this year. As you can guess - we love Mathnasium and recommend it to everyone who is looking to get back on track or move forward with a math. You will probably meet my kid in there because we plan to stick with this place as long as we can.

Mathnasium in Clifton Park has been such a great help with our daughter! Last report card she went up 9 points in math! This report card, she went up another 4 points. I highly recommend it if your kiddo is struggling or just needs a little boost in their confidence when it comes to math!

My 9 year old needed help with math. He struggles with staying focused and on task. Their staff has done such a great job helping him understand his homework. They also give him other assignments that are designed for his curriculum. They incentivize him to do better and it keeps him wanting to do better. I've been doing SAT prep at Mathnasium of South Lyon this summer and it has made a huge difference. The instructors really take the time to explain the concepts I struggled with, especially on the math section, and they break everything down in a way that actually makes sense. My practice test scores have gone up and I feel so much more confident going into the real thing. The atmosphere is welcoming and everyone genuinely wants to see you succeed. Highly recommend for anyone prepping for the SAT!
