Tangram Puzzle Challenge: Thanksgiving Turkey

Nov 10, 2022 | Dale City

What is a Tangram?

A Tangram is a shape puzzle, consisting of seven flat polygons (called tans) which are put together to form shapes. The goal is to recreate a specific shape, given only an outline.

The rules for Tangram puzzles are relatively simple:

  • The pieces must all be connected (by and edge or corner)
  • All pieces must be lying flat
  • None of the pieces may overlap
  • All 7 pieces must be used
  • You may flip, rotate, or otherwise re-orient pieces as needed

This Thanksgiving, we invite you to try out a Tangram at home!

Use store-bought Tangram pieces, or make your own, to create a Tangram Turkey!
