This holiday season give your child the gift of math!  

We love the holiday season, because it’s all about family. When you join Mathnasium, you become part of our family, and can rely on us to help you plan for a new year of math achievement, one in which your child gains confidence and competence. Before school breaks for the holiday vacation, we invite you in to schedule a free assessment, so you can have detailed information on exactly what your child knows and what they still need to learn. We’d also love to speak with your child about their feelings about math and show them how we’re changing lives through math and can change theirs as well!

Of course, it helps when students see the relevance of math outside the classroom. To keep them thinking mathematically this holiday season, try including them as you plan for the holidays, asking them to apply the math that they’ve learned. We’ve also created fun math activities that you can download online from our Number Sense blog: A “pretend snow” craft for younger students and an iced sugar cookie recipe for upper elementary school kids and older.
