Aarna is currently a junior at Oliver Ames High School. She has always had a love for math, now having completed all math courses through AP BC Calculus and currently studying computer science. With a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, I bring a deep understanding of math and problem-solving to my tutoring sessions. My academic background allows me to break down complex concepts in a way that is both clear and engaging for students.
Beyond my studies, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to intern at NASA, where I not only worked on cutting-edge research but also volunteered to mentor and inspire young students. Seeing kids light up when they grasp a new concept fueled my passion for teaching. I believe that math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about developing confidence, curiosity, and critical thinking skills that last a lifetime.

Joseph is currently a senior at Sharon High School. Whether it’s deriving physics equations or solving long algebraic problems, he loves math and hopes to help others understand it at Mathnasium. If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
