Lyman is a graduate student at Northeastern University pursuing a master’s in quantitative finance, with a strong academic background in math, statistics, data analysis, and risk management. His passion for math began in high school and deepened through college, where he studied advanced topics in business and fintech. At Mathnasium, Lyman loves turning “I don’t get it” into “That makes sense!” by breaking down tricky math problems into simple, understandable steps. Outside of teaching, he enjoys playing music with his band and exploring data-driven projects.
Aarna is currently a junior at Oliver Ames High School. She has always had a love for math, now having completed all math courses through AP BC Calculus and currently studying computer science. Outside of math, Aarna is a proud member of science team, robotics team, and chamber orchestra. She hopes to spark natural curiosity and find the fun in math for students!
Joseph is currently a senior at Sharon High School. Whether it’s deriving physics equations or solving long algebraic problems, he loves math and hopes to help others understand it at Mathnasium. Outside the classroom, he’s the drummer in his school’s jazz band and a four year varsity track athlete. His hobbies include graphic design, website development, and creating music.
