Mohamad is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Farmington Hills. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, Mohamad was a Faculty in the Department of Physics at Iowa State University. He has an PhD from Iowa State University and a BS in Physics from Applied Science University. Realizing how Math deficiency affected (and still) students in college, Mohamad is enthusiastic about helping every child in the Farmington/Farmington Hills community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. He has taught and tutored children of all ages, and he is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community. Favorite Number: 7 Favorite Math Joke: Why was 6 afraid of 7? Issra is a graduate student at Eastern Michigan University’s Occupational Therapy program. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, reading and baking. Issra's favorite subject in school was always math, because there was never a wrong answer. Issra loves teaching math especially when a new math concept clicks with a student. Her favorite subject to teach is pre-algebra because it is the basis of all math and it is super important and also fun! Abrar is a freshman at Eastern Michigan University studying Interior Design and algebra is her favorite subject. She is especially passionate about tutoring kids because the excitement when they finally understand a subject is priceless. Her favorite subjects to teach are order of operations and reasoning with fractions. In her free time she enjoys going on walks, sewing, and biking.
