Mohamad is the Center Director at Mathnasium of Farmington Hills and holds a PhD in Physics from Iowa State University, along with a bachelor’s degree in Physics from Applied Science University. He previously served as faculty in the Department of Physics at Iowa State University.
Mohamad is passionate about addressing math gaps early after seeing their long-term impact on students in higher education. He enjoys helping students of all ages understand math in ways that make sense to them. His favorite number is seven, and he enjoys sharing classic math humor to make learning engaging.
Issra is an instructor at Mathnasium and a graduate student in the Occupational Therapy program at Eastern Michigan University. Math was always her favorite subject, and she enjoys helping students experience those “aha” moments when new concepts finally click.
Issra especially enjoys teaching pre-algebra, as she believes it builds a strong foundation for all future math learning. She brings patience and encouragement to every session. Outside of Mathnasium, Issra enjoys swimming, reading, and baking. Her favorite math joke involves a “mathmachicken” counting eggs.
Abrar is an instructor at Mathnasium and a freshman at Eastern Michigan University studying Interior Design. She has always enjoyed math, with algebra being her favorite subject due to its logical structure and problem-solving elements.
Abrar is passionate about tutoring and loves seeing students’ excitement when concepts finally make sense. She enjoys teaching order of operations and working with fractions. Outside of Mathnasium, Abrar enjoys sewing, biking, and taking walks. She also enjoys sharing lighthearted math jokes, including ones involving cowculators.
