Free Online Resources to Help Your Child with Math Practice this Fall

Oct 22, 2020 | South Friendswood

Whether you’re homeschooling your child, helping with virtual school or sending your kids back in person, one of the most important things we, as parents and math tutors, can do this year is to consider each child’s educational goals and approach to math.

Our math tutors here in our learning center understand this more this academic year than ever before, as we work with different students in different grades, circumstances, learning environments and more.

There are so many different curriculum and tools out there available for free to parents and students. And while our Mathnasium curriculum, the Mathnasium Method isn’t changing, it has been adapted to help our students in individual circumstances. Some students are attending math tutoring sessions in-person, while others prefer to attend Mathnasium @Home online.

Today, we want to share some fun, free learning tools and math activities for your child, our students and anyone else who could use a little extra math practice right now at home!

FREE RESOURCES:

Math Practice for Pre-K through grade 12: Prodigy offers free online games and math practice to keep your child engaged as they learn.

Grades 5-8: Khan Academy is a leader in free online learning videos and especially known for its math programming used in many school systems throughout the U.S.

Don’t forget that our math learning center can provide you and your child with extra activities and practice work as needed.
