Mathnasium of Ft. Worth West's personalized math enrichment programs are designed for students who are ready to go further, from high-achieving elementary learners building advanced foundations to those pursuing competition math and rigorous coursework.
Students with a solid grasp of grade-level math can explore advanced concepts through our specialized program, developing algebraic thinking, justification and reasoning, strategic problem-solving, and flexible number sense that prepares them for future mathematical challenges.
Our tutors can train students for math competitions, including AMC, MathCounts, and Math Olympiad, developing the advanced problem-solving strategies, pattern recognition, and creative thinking techniques they need to perform confidently in competitive settings.

Jeff
Center Director
Jeff brings more than 25 years of educational experience as a teacher, administrator, and high school principal throughout the Metroplex. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University in Theatre Arts and Communications, which led to a professional theater career on the East Coast before transitioning into education.
He later earned a Master’s in Education and a Doctorate in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University. At Mathnasium, Jeff is passionate about helping students build confidence in math and is committed to delivering results through the proven Mathnasium Method™.
Jodi
Director of Education
Jodi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Math from Hope College and a Master’s in Math Education, along with a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Teacher Leadership from Piedmont College. She is also a certified gifted instructor.
With over 20 years of experience teaching everything from 8th grade math to IB Math Studies, Jodi thrives on seeing the moment a student grasps a difficult concept. She believes every student can succeed with the right tools, guidance, and encouragement.
Lauren
Director of Training
Lauren graduated from the University of Central Florida with an Interdisciplinary Studies degree focused on Mathematics Education and Psychology. She has studied advanced math including Calculus III, Differential Equations, and Statistics.
Since joining Mathnasium in 2011, Lauren has dedicated herself to making math engaging and approachable. She believes math should be challenging and fun, not frustrating, and is passionate about inspiring students to enjoy learning as much as she does.
