Q: What did you think Mathnasium would be like before you came here?
A: I thought they would assign me a bunch of homework but they didn't!
Q: Do you feel like math is easier at school since you’ve been coming to Mathnasium?
A: Definitely! After learning Algebra 2 online, Mathnasium helps with topics that I missed or don’t remember.
Q: What kind of math are you working on right now?
A: In school I’m working on transformations of secondary trigonometric functions, basic derivatives and the unit circle. At Mathnasium I am working on function composition, 3-variable systems of equations, and inverse functions.
Q: What happened to your test scores and grades (in math class) after you started coming to Mathnasium?
A: My grades increased dramatically! I struggled in the first quarter because I had a weak foundation, but now I have a much better understanding of Algebraic concepts.
Q: Do you think your parents would understand the math you’re learning at Mathnasium?
A: My parents are epidemiologists so they’re good at statistics, but not the algebra or calculus topics I’m doing now.
Q: Have you ever brought math homework from school to Mathnasium? What was it like to get homework help?
A: Yes, getting help on homework is really nice. It cuts down on the time I have to do homework at home and I understand it a lot more!
