Q: What is a comprehensive assessment?
A: Our comprehensive assessment is given to our students to evaluate where the students' current math skills are.
Q: What things do you learn about a student when they take a comprehensive assessment?
A: We learn things such as what foundational gaps they might have, which areas will need more attention than others, what topics they have already completed and more.
Q: What is a customized learning plan?
A: A student's customized learning plan is created from our comprehensive assessment. Every area that the student didn't show 100% confidence/mastery in, will get added into their learning plan so that we can focus on those areas which are struggles for the student.
Q: How do you gauge progress?
A: Students' progress is demonstrated through 2 ways. The first being from their learning plan. After working with us on selected topics, the student will have opportunities to demonstrate the knowledge they've gained to one of our instructors. The second way we gauge progress would be another assessment. Roughly every 3 months, students will get reassessed on the topics they have worked on. From there, we are able to see how much growth they have made with us for those select months.
