Center Director
Snowlin Alex is the Center Director at Mathnasium and a graduate of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a degree in Computer Science. Her passion for math and science is matched only by her artistic side. She loves painting, hiking, yoga, and cycling.
Her favorite number is 3, and her favorite math joke reflects her playful side: “Why are equal signs so humble? Because they know they aren’t greater than or less than!” She’s especially fascinated by the origin of zero, which was first used in India over 5,000 years ago.

Administrator
Christina earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Towson University and has been an integral part of Mathnasium for over three years. She brings creativity, organization, and warmth to her role as Administrator, helping students and families feel welcome.
Her favorite number is infinity—a concept she finds endlessly fascinating in both math and science. Christina also has a great sense of humor and loves the joke: “You know what seems odd to me? Numbers that can’t be divided by 2!” She’s passionate about helping students grow in both knowledge and confidence.

Senior Administrator
Ayesha Kamal is a Senior Administrator at Mathnasium and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. She’s also an ESOL teacher and a proud Mathnasium mom of two. Fluent in four languages, English, Urdu, Arabic, and Persian, Ayesha brings warmth, cultural insight, and a love for learning to everything she does. Her favorite number is 22, which she associates with serenity and insight.
She enjoys studying behavioral science and cooking in her free time. Ayesha’s favorite math joke? “There’s a fine line between a numerator and a denominator… but only a fraction would understand.”

Michelle Wong is a junior at the University of Maryland, double majoring in Criminal Justice and Mathematics. With a passion for forensic science and calculus, she blends logic and problem-solving in every tutoring session. Her favorite number is 28, and she’s a fan of math jokes, especially this one: “What is the official animal of Pi Day? The Pi-thon!”
In addition to her academic interests, Michelle loves reading mystery novels and playing video games. She’s also fascinated by the uniqueness of human fingerprints—even identical twins don’t share the same ones!
