Desiré's Mathnasium Journey to Ownership

Mathnasium of Greatwood has a new owner with many years of experience at Mathnasium. Desiré Pierce started as an instructor in 2010. She fell in love with the Mathnasium method and the impact she witnessed on many student's math success. She shifted her career path from becoming a math teacher to a career with Mathnasium. Over the years she worked as an instructor and center director at several locations, and she even worked for 5 years in the franchise corporate offices in Los Angeles. In the corporate offices, she was the director of Mathnasium@home and General Business Systems, also serving on the executive leadership team. As she now steps into center ownership, she is partnered with David Ullendorff, co-founder of Mathnasium, and Vane Lucas, long time multi center owner for 13 years and previous leader of the Mathnasium Systems department. She is happy to be back home in the Houston area and for the opportunity to get back into the center to change lives through math in the Greatwood community.
