A Slice of Fun: Celebrating Pi Day with a Party to Remember

On March 14th, we hosted an extraordinary Pi Day party that brought together math enthusiasts, families, and friends for a day of fun, food, and fantastic activities. With over 100 attendees, the event was a tremendous success, celebrating our favorite irrational number, Pi (π), in style.

Food, Fun, and Festivities

The heart of any great gathering is, of course, the food. Our guests savored delicious slices of Papa John's pizza, which were an absolute hit and perfectly fitting for a Pi-themed event. In addition, Jersey Mike's Subs provided tasty sandwiches that satisfied even the heartiest of appetites.

For those with a sweet tooth, the Girl Scouts were on-site selling their renowned cookies, offering a delightful treat to complement the savory options. And let's not forget the scrumptious king cake provided by PJ's Coffee, adding a sweet touch to the festivities with its rich flavors.

Entertainment for All Ages

The event was packed with entertainment that kept both kids and adults engaged throughout the day. Texas Wonder amazed the crowd with colorful balloon animals and whimsical face painting, bringing smiles to all the young (and young at heart) attendees.

A henna station, courtesy of Monalisha Salon & Spa, offered beautiful temporary tattoos, showcasing intricate designs that guests could proudly wear home.

Adding to the excitement, McWilliams Plumbing Heating and Cooling brought along their beloved mascot, Sailor Mac, who was a hit with everyone. Sailor Mac charmed the crowd with his antics including joining in our Hula Hoop and Basketball contests!

Contests and Giveaways

Pi Day wouldn't be complete without some friendly competition. Our guests participated in a variety of contests, including hula hoop challenges, basketball shootouts, and a pi memory contest that tested participants' ability to recall the digits of Pi.

To top it off, we held several giveaways throughout the day, with great prizes that left winners beaming with joy.
