Here are some animal math facts, brought to us from National Geographic!

(1) Grey wolves can be between 36-63 inches tall and weigh between 40-175 pounds.

(2) Polar bears live to be 25-30 years old and can grow to be 8 feet tall. And they can weigh a whopping 900-1,600 pounds!

(3) Koalas sleep 18-22 hours per day.

(4) There are nine different species of giraffe: Thornicroft, Kordofan, Rothschild, South African, Nubian, West African, Angolan, Masai, and Reticulated. Check out how differently their spots show up!

(5) Giant pandas spend most of their day eating: up to 12 hours a day! They typically eat 28 pounds of bamboo to stay satisfied. They can climb as high as 13,000 feet to reach the food they crave.

(6) Cheetas can go from 0-60 mph in only 3 seconds!

(7) A Bengal Tiger's roar can be heard from as far as 2 miles away.

(8) A bald eagle has a wingspan of 6-8 feet.

(9) A female fox typically gives birth to 2-12 pups at a time.

(10) African elephants can live up to 70 years, weigh between 2.5-7 tons, and have a shoulder height of 8-13 feet!
