A: We offer this free for all students before they start a program, and is a very detailed comprehensive look at the students' strengths and weaknesses in math.
Q: What things do you learn about a student when they take a comprehensive assessment?
A: The comprehensive assessment allows us to create an individualized learning plan so we can target how to best help the student.
Q: What is a customized learning plan?
A: No two 3rd graders are the same in their skill levels for the topics they need to build on for 3rd grade success. We have some 3rd graders who may need to build up their understanding on how to solve a word problem but another may have this mastered already.
Q: How do you gauge progress?
A: Our instructors are trained to ask questions on students as they are showing mastery, so we can confidently move them onto the next foundational concept.
