Hi, I am Noel, a graduate from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Psychology. I will be returning to CSU Fullerton to obtain a Teaching Credential in Mathematics to become a high school math teacher. Helping others with math has been a passion of mine and have been serving as a tutor for 7 years including being a high school AVID Program tutor. I enjoy guiding students to solve problems, to think outside the box, and to strengthen their math skills. Outside of academics, I have performed and competed with dance companies such as Kaba Modern and Maker Empire throughout Southern California. In my free time, I enjoy taking film photography, making crafts, decorating my bedroom, listening to K-Pop, playing games, and solving puzzles!

Hi, I'm Cyrus! I'm currently a college student pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering (Pre-Med). Throughout my undergrad, I've taken lots of math, physics, chemistry, and other STEM classes which have all been a blast! I enjoy helping students understand the reason why math works the way it does, because I believe it takes their understanding of math to a completely new level. I love the intricate puzzles of math and science and find the many connections between them super fascinating! Outside of school, you’ll find me probably doing homework... rock climbing, and hanging out with friends!

One of my favorite things about math is that there are different ways you can solve a problem, but you eventually get to the same answer. Hello! I am Brandon and am currently a senior at San Juan Hills High School with plans of attending UCI. STEM subjects are usually my favorites with AP Physics and AP Chemistry being the classes that interested me the most. In addition, math has always been one of my favorite subjects as well with me always finding ways to look at the world through the lens of math. In middle school, I was a part of the Mathcounts club and participated in many competitions for it. I also love teaching and sharing my knowledge of math with others, as I feel math is one of the most important subjects to know. Outside of school, I am an avid volunteer, part of Lion’s Heart in which I do many activities such as knitting blankets or helping out at food banks. In my free time, I love to hang out with friends and family, go thrifting, listen to music, or go to the gym.

If a student is struggling or simply looking to keep up in their math class, Mathnasium will build upon what they already know, addressing their learning gaps and teaching math in a way that makes sense to them.
Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
