Grace Peng is the Multi-Center Owner of several Mathnasium locations in Orange County, including Lake Forest, Foothill Ranch, and Irvine. Every day, she is committed to creating an effective, engaging, and supportive learning experience where students grow in confidence and build a deep understanding of math.
She leads a team of passionate instructors who provide a nurturing and productive environment for students of all levels. Grace believes in the transformative power of the Mathnasium Method and is always happy to connect with families who want to see their children succeed in math.
Ann Chiu graduated from University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and a Master’s degree in Professional Accountancy. She has enjoyed working with children for many years and finds it rewarding to see their confidence grow as they learn. With a strong background in analytical thinking and problem-solving, she’s excited to help students discover that math can be both understandable and fun. She believes that learning math is not only about solving problems but also about building persistence and critical thinking that carry into everyday life. Her goal is to help each student feel proud of their progress and motivated to keep improving. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring new places, and working out. Her favorite math joke: “Why was six afraid of seven? Because seven eight nine!”
Gavin is attending Saddleback College, where he plans to pursue a major in physics. He has enjoyed mathematics and the physical sciences from a young age and especially appreciates the logical structure and real-world applications of physics.
Gavin enjoys supporting students as they build confidence and curiosity in math. In his free time, he enjoys reading science books, spending time with family, and exploring new ideas related to science and technology.
Hi, I’m Caden and I'm a graduate of San Juan Hills High School and finished AP calculus as a senior. I am no stranger to math! In my free time, I enjoy tutoring my friends and my family. When it comes to working with kids, I love the social aspect and meeting new students, as well as making sure they reach their desired goals. Outside of school, I love seeing movies, eating food, and hanging out with friends!
Brandon is a student at Saddleback and Irvine Valley College with a strong interest in STEM subjects, particularly mathematics, physics, and chemistry. He participated in Mathcounts competitions during middle school and enjoys exploring the world through a mathematical lens while helping students build confidence and understanding in math.
Brandon is passionate about teaching and believes math is an essential skill for problem solving and everyday life. Outside the center, he volunteers with Lion’s Heart supporting local food banks. In his free time, Brandon enjoys thrifting, listening to music, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
Hi, my name is Oliver, and I am a senior at Santa Margarita Catholic High School with a strong passion for mathematics! I enjoy all areas of math, especially calculus, finance, and the stock market. Beyond academics, I enjoy helping children grow into confident, curious, and successful individuals. I believe investing in the next generation is essential, as they will one day become the leaders of our world! In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, line dancing, playing the guitar, and spending quality time with my family and three dogs!
Hi everyone! My name is Charlie, and I am a Junior at Santa Margarita High School. Ever since I was little, I have loved math and learning how to be a better problem solver through math. I am involved in ASB, Model UN, various clubs, and I also volunteer once a week at Mission Hospital. I love to go to the beach, hang out with my friends and family, go to the gym, and cook new foods. I love being a tutor because I am able to share something I’m passionate about to children for them to grow and succeed!
