Hello, we are Lisa and Paul and we embarked on this journey as Mathnasium of Ladera Ranch owners almost 7 years ago and we are excited how many students have enjoyed learning math. We are looking forward to the future mathletes we will meet and teach! Lisa has always had a passion for math education which led her to Mathnasium over 10 years ago, working as a Director for other Mathnasium centers in South Orange County. Lisa has a B.S. degree in Business Management from San Diego State University and worked in the computer manufacturing field for over 10 years as a Materials Manager. Paul has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from UCLA. He has 30+ years of professional experience in Engineering and Computer Science. They are the proud parents of 2 children who were educated in CUSD, and are graduates of SDSU and USC.

Hi, I'm Claire and I'm a graduate of California State University, Fullerton with a degree in Child and Adolescent Development and a minor in Mathematics and Business Administration. I am no stranger to tutoring, as I've been a tutor since my freshman year of high school. I've always had a knack for mathematics and love helping people out and really enjoy working with kids. Outside of school and work, I can be found working out at a gym or dance studio, traveling, walking around Disneyland, hanging out at the beach, trying trendy new foods and drinks, or my personal favorite, lying in my bed using Netflix.

Hi, I'm Noel and I'm a graduate from California State University, Fullerton with a B.A. in Psychology. Outside the center, I am a tutor for the AVID program at Troy High School. I enjoy guiding students to solve problems, to think outside the box, and to strengthen their math skills. I aspire to become a high school math teacher in the future. In my free time, I enjoy taking film photography, making various crafts, dancing to hip hop and K-pop, decorating my bedroom, and solving puzzles.

Hi, I'm Cyrus and I’m a sophomore at Saddleback College, with hopes to transfer to UCI to pursue a degree in Biomedical Engineering. I have taken AP Physics (Mechanics) and AP Calculus BC and am planning to take Linear Algebra and Differential Equations in college. I enjoy helping students understand the reason why math works the way it does, because I believe it takes their understanding of math to a completely new level. I love the puzzles of math and science and find the many connections between them super fascinating! Outside of school, you’ll find me practicing violin and hanging out with my friends.

Hi, I am Gavin Westman and I am attending Saddleback College as a Freshman this year. Ever since I was young, I have enjoyed the physical sciences and math. I enjoy physics especially and will pursue it as my major in college. In my free time, you can usually find me enjoying a good science book, driving around, or hanging out with my family!

Hi, I'm Armina! I wear many hats in my day-to-day, but at heart am a math enthusiast! I enjoyed tutoring math of all levels throughout my high school, college, and medical school years. I bring a unique perspective to educating students in math because of my history of practicing optometry where I realized my passion of educating my colleagues, patients, and optometry students. I currently reside in Rancho Mission Viejo with my husband and my dog, where the three of us run a golf media company. In my free time, I enjoy going for walks with my dog, listening to podcasts, reading novels, and watching documentaries.

Hi, I’m Caden and I am a senior at San Juan Hills High School! As a student enrolled in NHS and AP Calculus AB, I am no stranger to math. In my free time, I enjoy tutoring my friends and my family. When it comes to working with kids, I love the social aspect and meeting new students, as well as making sure they reach their desired goals. Outside of school, I love seeing movies, eating food, and hanging out with friends!
