Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University San Bernadino and a Computer Programming Certificate from Mt. San Jacinto College. She is currently working toward her Masters Degree in Data Science. Lauren grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and she tutored throughout college in various subjects. Lauren applies her tutoring experience and love for math at Mathnasium. Lauren fosters a welcoming environment for students to learn and grow in their math skills. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys hiking with her two dogs, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Ryan has his Associates Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the College of the Desert. He is currently working toward his Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics program from University of California San Diego. Ryan has tutored math, physics, and computer programming at the Tutoring and Academic Skills Center at College of the Desert. Ryan strives to instruct in a way that allows students to make their own connections, and to develop independent problem solving skills. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys hiking, assembling PCs, and playing card games.

Yareli is currently a student at College of the Desert, working towards her Associates Degree in Accounting. Yareli plans to continue her studies towards earning her Bachelors’ Degree in Finance. Yareli grew up in the Eastern Coachella Valley, where she went to school and gained a love for math. Yareli aspires to show children that they can learn math and still have fun. In her spare time, Yareli enjoys hiking and volleyball, as well as binge-watching TV shows.

Briana has her Associates Degree in Business Administration from College of the Desert. She is currently working towards her Bachelors Degree in Business Administration at the University of California Riverside. Briana has tutored Math and Accounting at the Tutoring and Academic Skills Center at College of the Desert. Briana aims to help students improve their math skills to make their education easier. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, spending time with her family and friends, as well as baking.

Mathnasium provides premium value by combining a superior learning experience with an efficient structure that keeps costs low. There is a flat enrollment fee for our program, and students attend regularly—much like a gym membership. We recommend that they attend Mathnasium 2-3 times per week as attending less frequently will slow results and attending too often could lead to student burnout. Pricing varies by program and geographic area. Contact our center for more details on enrollment packages.

No. All learning occurs under the efficient and effective guidance of our trained instructors. Adding homework would risk frustration and overload. In fact, we'll set aside some time each session to help your student with their school homework.
