Lauren

Instructor
Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University San Bernadino and a Computer Programming Certificate from Mt. San Jacinto College. She is preparing to start her Masters Degree program in Data Science in the upcoming year. Lauren grew up in Fairbanks, Alaska, and she tutored throughout college in various subjects. Lauren applies her tutoring experience and love for math at Mathnasium. Lauren fosters a welcoming environment for students to learn and grow in their math skills. In her spare time, Lauren enjoys hiking with her two dogs, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Claire

Instructor
Claire earned her Mathematics Associate in Science degree from College of the Desert and then transferred to University of California, Riverside where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. As a local of the high desert, she hopes to someday teach Mathematics at College of the Desert, and imbue students with the wonder she feels about mathematics. Claire loves working with kids of all ages, and urges them to feel excited about learning new skills at Mathnasium! In her spare time, Claire helps run an animal rescue shelter where dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more are cared for and re-homed.

Ryan

Instructor
Ryan has his Associates Degrees in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the College of the Desert. He is currently working toward his Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics program from University of California San Diego. Ryan has tutored math, physics, and computer programming at the Tutoring and Academic Skills Center at College of the Desert. Ryan strives to instruct in a way that allows students to make their own connections, and to develop independent problem solving skills. In his spare time, Ryan enjoys hiking, assembling PCs, and playing card games.
