Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Lauren

Lead Instructor

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino, and a Computer Programming Certificate from Mt. San Jacinto College. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Data Science. Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, she began tutoring in college and quickly discovered her love of teaching math.

At Mathnasium, Lauren creates a welcoming environment that helps students strengthen their skills and confidence. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her two dogs, baking, and spending time with friends and family.

Ryan

Instructor

Ryan holds Associate’s degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from College of the Desert and is now completing his Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics at UC San Diego. He has experience tutoring math, physics, and computer programming, and he enjoys helping students develop independence in problem solving.

Ryan’s teaching style emphasizes curiosity and logical thinking, encouraging each student to make connections on their own. When he is not tutoring, he enjoys hiking, building PCs, and playing strategy-based card games.

Kaeden

Instructor

Kaeden is studying Robotics at the University of California, Riverside. His interest in math began during his first year of high school, where he consistently ranked among the top of his class. He is passionate about helping students see math not as something intimidating, but as a tool for creativity and real-world problem solving.

Kaeden enjoys reading, writing, cooking, attending concerts, and creating art. He works to help students discover that math is not only useful but deeply rewarding.

Emmanuel

Emmanuel is currently a student at College of the Desert working toward his Associates Degree in Computer Sciences.
