• Where is Mathnasium of Mankato located?

  Mathnasium of Mankato is located right off Madison Avenue between Madison East Center and Walgreens. Our convenient location provides easy access for families throughout the area. 

  We proudly serve students from Mankato, North Mankato, St. Peter, St. Clair, Mapleton, Janesville, New Ulm, Nicolet, Skyline, and Kasota. We work with students from all schools in the Greater Mankato Area, all public and private schools in South Central Minnesota, as well as home school families across Southern Minnesota. 

• What math classes can your Mankato tutors help with?

  We support students in grades 1–12 across a wide range of math classes and topics, from early arithmetic and foundational math to Algebra and Geometry. 

  Our specially trained math tutors in Mankato help students strengthen their understanding, build confidence, and improve academic performance. 

• What does mathematics tutoring cost at Mathnasium of Mankato?

  Mathnasium of Mankato offers math-only tutoring through a flat monthly enrollment fee with no long-term contracts. For best results, we recommend that most students attend 2–3 sessions per week. To determine the ideal schedule for your student, please schedule a free assessment.

• How do you teach math? What curriculum do you use?

  At Mathnasium of Mankato, we don’t follow a traditional curriculum. Instead, we use the Mathnasium Method™, our proprietary teaching approach that blends structured learning with personalized instruction.

  Yes! We work with students from all educational backgrounds, including homeschooled, private, and public-school families across the Greater Mankato Area. 

• Do you help students with their math homework?

  Yes. During each session, our tutors set aside time to help students with their math homework, ensuring they understand key concepts and stay current with school assignments. 

• Does Mathnasium assign homework to students?

  No. All learning takes place during sessions with our specially trained tutors. Students focus on making real progress in the center so no additional homework is required.

  Yes! Mathnasium of Mankato helps students prepare for school-based and standardized math tests, including classroom exams, state assessments, and college entrance tests like the ACT® and SAT®.
